Dear Mr. Morton
Results of Solstar first scheduling in Vicosa were great! We achieved an index of 94% of student requestsk with 2000 classes and 6,100 students and 2,500 courses. This index was not higher because of the lack of seats in the rooms. some courses have labs occupied at all times, and there is no way to offer more seats. This problem will be solved for the next semester...
Regards and thanks for your attention to Vicosa.

The township high school district 211, the largest high school district in Illinois state, was looking for PC-based scheduling system four years ago.
We compared several famous software at that time but we didn't find less manual scheduling system.
Meantime we found SOLSTAR scheduling system August 1998 and applied this software to one school under NOVELL network. I trained the student service director who was in charge of Solstar scheduling system for two days and he used the system easily.
The result was successful and the user was happy.
We applied this scheduling system to four other schools the following year. One of the advantages is that I can schedule the student request as many as needed and each school can actually run schedules again and again on the same day after any master schedules or request are changed. As a result, the fully scheduled rate is improved.
Thanks to good software and prompt technical support by M&J DATA INC., we are using SOLSTAR scheduling system very well and simplify our scheduling job.
