Scheduling for Elementary Schools

The Solstar Elementary School Scheduling System is designed to accommodate the requirements of an elementary school: to schedule their classes, instructors, rooms, and special needs children in the most efficient means possible.

The system includes a master schedule builder program used to create the master schedule to classes including the instructors and the rooms.

Once the master schedule is created the classes and special needs students are assigned to section of the courses. Schedules are provided for instructors, rooms, and individual students as required.

Incoming students are assigned to classes based on four criteria:
  1. Maximum students per class
  2. Ethnicity
  3. Sex
  4. Neither Ethnicity nor Sex

In addition to the scheduling system, two programs are supplied to take attendance and provide bus boarding and receiving information.

The system is also designed to accommodate the CHILD program developed by Florida State University and implemented by the Institute for School Innovation, Inc. Tallahassee Florida.
